Nuclear particle realy it is possible reduce carbon dioxide emissions, because the carbon is a power elecrophile. For example, sodium peroxide is a nuclearphile:
Na2O2+CO2=Na2CO3 + O2

And where would you get the Na2O2? You would need energy to create it and get that energy from from some poluting source.
