The units of resistivity don't come out right.
10^-8 Ohm * m
or
m Ohm * cm
the 'm' should be a 'mu', but unfortunately they both look the same in the latin alphabet.
Magnesium reaction
Submitted by Anonymous on 9 February 2007 - 4:34am.I know that Magnesium is so reactive that when it burns, it reacts with the oxygen and nitrogen in the air. What would the name of the compound produced in this reaction be?
Help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

The Group 2 elements
Submitted by WebElements on 12 April 2006 - 1:41pm.The Group 2 elements are called the alkaline earth metals. The Group 2 elements are:
- Beryllium
- Magnesium
- Calcium
- Strontium
- Barium
- Radium
The electronic configuration of the elements all consist of two s-electrons outside an inner core of electron corresponding to the previous inert gas: the group configuration is therefore ns2.
